These days I don't do much more than web-browsing, but I think I could still work my way through an install. I used to be somewhat computer-savvy, back when that meant I could find my away around an MS-DOS directory. I've heard of a program called PC Decrapifier that will help me identify what to remove (, but it's been "offline for maintenance" for at least a day), but also it has been recommended that I just wipe the thing and perform a clean install of the OS. ![]() ![]() I'm not sure what I need and what I don't. A lot of it is Dell-branded, but then there's other stuff like Intel and Microsoft. Of course it comes loaded up with programs and bloatware. I've just got a new Dell Inspiron 3671, since my old computer was so old it wouldn't run Windows 10, and I've been advised against continuing on Win7 with support ended.
